Responsibility
Environmental Commitment
We sell equipment that reduces carbon emissions, which makes it more important, not less, to be careful about the claims we make for it.
How we handle carbon claims
- Carbon savings are modelled from the specific system and site, not quoted from generic averages
- We state the grid intensity assumption behind any figure we publish
- We do not claim a system is carbon neutral or net zero without a defensible basis
Materials and waste
- Packaging returned or recycled through our supply chain wherever possible
- Removed equipment routed to WEEE-compliant disposal
- Battery handling and transport in line with applicable regulations
Sourcing
Our importation activity gives us direct sight of the supply chain for the equipment we sell. We can tell you where the major components in your system come from, and we expect our suppliers to be able to answer questions about their own manufacturing standards.
Honest advice
If a technology will not deliver a worthwhile environmental or financial return on your building, the right advice is to say so. We would rather lose a sale than install something that does not work.
Ask us about a project's carbon case
A short conversation usually saves a lot of guesswork.
