Air Source Heat Pumps
A heat pump is not a like-for-like boiler replacement. It runs at lower flow temperatures, which means the emitters, pipework and controls have to suit it. We start with a room-by-room heat loss calculation.
What we assess
- Room-by-room heat loss and required flow temperature
- Existing radiator and pipework capacity, and what needs upgrading
- Hot water demand and cylinder sizing
- Outdoor unit siting, noise and condensate
- Fabric measures worth doing first
Funding
Government grant support for heat pumps exists in England and Wales through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, and eligibility depends on the property, the system and the certification of the installing company.
How installation is delivered
Installation work is delivered by our network of MCS-certified installation partners. Solar Renewables & Importations Ltd does not itself hold MCS certification.
Funding caveat
Grant and funding figures are indicative only. Eligibility, award levels and scheme availability change and must be verified with the scheme administrator before you rely on them.
